    Greetings all,

I've been having a very frustrating time here... I'm trying to email some 128x128 images to my cellphone to use as wallpaper, but they keep showing up on my phone as HALF the dimensions: 64x64!!

At first I thought it was because I was sending too large of images, and the system was automatically resizing my images down so that my phone could handle it (my original email had eight ~4KB images in it), but then now, I sent only two images in it, and they're still halved! I smell some foul play here!

I think Cingular may be intentionally resizing the images I'm emailing to my phone, since, by dimensions, they're bound to be wallpapers. I must note to you that on Cingular's website, you can use their "Image Wiz," or something similar by name, that you can use to create your OWN wallpapers, and have it send it to your phone! All for only $1.99/image! That's a load of crap. If this is some ploy by Cingular to get people to use their $2/img service, when email/MMS should be just fine, at $.25/msg... I'm gonna be pissed.. . . I'm calling customer service tomorrow.

I do note that I had no trouble sending four 128x128 images a week or so ago...

Update 2/28/05: Called customer service. Went through three reps, and one hour, fifteen minutes: they couldn't resolve it. It was nice also that the last rep. just left me on hold for about 20-30 minutes, before I decided to hang up. I'm going to go in to the store this afternoon and see what they have to say...
