I have a recurring, intermittant service problem with cingular. I use a Nokia 1100 phone. Every few days, for a few hours at time, I am unable to connect to the network. When I try to make a call, I get three beeps and a disconnect. Incoming calls go directly to voicemail. Battery and antenna signals are strong. Same geographic locations work fine at other times.

One time the service tech told me that my phone was not registered properly in the computer system and that is why it was not being recognized by non-cingular towers. He said that would be fixed (months ago). This occurs in my home region or away.

I am now on my third replacement phone.

Can anyone here give me advice on what could be wrong or how to get a knowledgeable service tech.
