Hey guys,
I've heard that verizon assigns each cell phone/user an email address which people can send emails to and will, in turn, be forwarded to the phone. I have also heard rumors that cingular does a similar thing.
Does anyone know whether this is true or not? and if so, what is the email? 9875773349@cingular.com or something of the like?

Yes Cingular does... depends on your provider though...
it could go something like one of these...
(your 10 digit phone number)@mycingular.textmsg.com
(your 10 digit phone number)@mobile.mycingular.com
(your 10 digit phone number)@mobile.mycingular.netJust the FAQ's ma'am...
Just because it's the most popular cellphone doesn't mean it's the best cellphone, kiddo!

huh I tried all those emails but none of them worked. I even went to cingular.com's wonderful website and they said cingularme.com, but that returned an error message.
Anyone actually use it before that knows if i have to register at cingular or something of the like?
