Cingular Internation text messages

Does anybody know if they can send/receive international text messages. I am with ATT now and I wll not move to Cingular until they fix this mess... I know from friends who can not send/receive text messages for many many countries including Rogers from Canada... go figure.

Cingular's excuse is "check with the service providor at the other country" but Cingular is the only one that has trouble ... I have no problems with ATT.

i have t-mo and cingular that i can send txt messeging in canada, malaysia, england, spain, taiwan, hong kong, specially in the philippines. with no problem.
try this format.
if you sending txt, let say to queens n.y. area code 1718, always put (+)
+1718 123 4567, try to do that!
on international if you call, it always start with 011 (country code) (city code) and tel number. remove the 011, replace it with (+)
let say in england direct dialing is 011 44 123 457 7890, take out the 011 and replace it with +441234577890
try this format and this is a standard gsm format.
i'll always doing this format specially at night my phone is always busy bcoz of all txt messeging form all my friends and relative from diff country.

I have not had any problems using ATT. But this frind of mine could not receive any messages from Canada, Australia, or Cingapore because of Cingular.
People had callded at Rogers in Canada to find out what the problem is and Rogers Canada told them that it was with Cingular.

that's what i have with my cingular, i cannot recieved txt just from canada, but the rest of the country is fine, i don't know why but if they send txt to my t-mo i recieved it right away. and t-mo, if i send a txt to spain it won't go thru but if i use my cingular it go thru with no problem. that's why i have two service provider. my t-mo is family plan and my cingular is just a prepaid plan.

actually you can txt msg internationally because i've txt msged all the way to VN and recieved txt msgs back too, but i think they might charge more for international txt msgs... I also txt msg to singapore and it works fine for me too!
