    BB or Treo with Cingular?

I'm about to move to my PDA but have questions:

    1. I use a Mac G4 pbook and AOL and have heard that there might be problems using BB vs using Treo 650. Is that true?

    2. If both are equally able to function with my computer and AOL which should I buy?

    3. I spend most of my year in the Los Angeles area but do travel from my home/office to mostly major cities in both the US and virtually any country in the world.

    4. According to the reseller I use, Verizon, my current phone company, does not yet offer international service for BB or Treo and that he cannot sell me the Cingular international plan since it's only available directly from Cingular. So it looks like Cingular's the way to go unless one of you feels there's an alternative for me to consider. As for voice mail, I have never liked Verizon's voice mail. When calls are missed or messages are left it might take up to 12 hours for the icon to appear on the phone screen. Further, Verizon is charging about $7/month for "extended" voice mail, ie more than 5 or 6 messages can be stored for up to 14 days. Currently those 5-6 message fill up my box and I'm out of luck when landing after a long flight since many calls are missed. How's Cingular on this aspect of service?

    5. Re: BB and the Treo 650: I get at least 50 emails a day, have about 3,000 phone numbers in my laptop and can't afford to not have constant access to that email and the ability to reach Google or other search engines.

I sure hope someone can help me since I've got Jury Duty next week and would like to resolve this before Monday....Thanks in advance for your support...Coz

    Treo

Well from reading the last lines of your post I guess i am a little late.

however, my choice in this situation would be a Treo 650.

I think it provides more customization and is more compatible with eveything else.

I am using the Xpress Mail from Cingular and it is great so far. I get (on avg.) about 70 - 80 emails a day incoming. That's not counting the 100 or so I send.

it handles it like a champ.

my wife uses a blackberry, but you can't play pool or poker on it

    go for the Treo!!
