yea, actually, word on a SKIII is October 2005, so we'll probably see that in t-mobiles line up considering DANGER is stickin with them.....for now anyway!

more new cingular phones!!!
Two more comin up, both from HP and are iPaq phones, the first is the 6320, and the second is the 6325, which adds a camera to the phone, details of the phones are bluetooth, windows mobile 2003 se, quad-band, and even wi-fi!!
heres a pic, looks just like the t-mobile one tho, so not really any cosmetic changes, but here is the pic

alright all, yet another update -
Cingular will be picking up the Nokia 6101/6102, a clamshell with dual color displays, stereo fm radio, PTT, speakerphone, and video/picture camera
They will also be getting the Nokia 6681/6682, a bar phone running Symbian Series 60, with a 1.3 MP camera with a flash and sliding lens cover, a MMC slot, EDGE, Bluetooth, music player, and PTT.
Another addition, although not really worth anything, is the Motorola v170/v171/v173, a simple basic clamshell phone with a color display (no external caller id). polyphonic ringtones and instant messaging

These things are so overrated it's not funny. I have a Samsung i700 that I used when I was with Verizon Wireless. Pocket PC Phone Edition sucks so bad, it's not really different from Pocket PC or Windows for that matter. The integration of PDA and cell phone is horrible. Try navigating the phone book and making a call while doing anything with one of these and you'll see what I mean.

btw, it's been known for a while now that cingular will not pick up the a630. they tested it, but due to issues with RF and their e-mail system, cingular chose to not carry the phone. however, if u look hard enough, there are some cingular branded a630s on the net that u can pick up. there are also t-mobile a630s that have been hacked in order to make them quadband. either of these will work well on cingular, but they are pretty costly

alright new update on cingular phones, two new lg's are coming,
one is the lg c1500 - dual color displays, flip, mp3 ringtones, speakerphone, and MMS
and the other is the lg c2000 - same thing as the c1500 but with a vga camera and voice dial

not great additions but additions nonetheless, also, i did hear about the a630 having its problems with testing, however i didnt hear about it gettin canned, not saying i don't believe you, it makes sense. haha, damn, i guess my skill slipped on that one.

alright, and one more update for you cingular customers, like the nokia 6101/6102 (the famous nokia flip) that both T-mobile and cingular are picking up, cingular will also be picking up the samsung x497, which is the same as t-mobile's samsung x495.
It is a basic clamshell phone with builtin IM, a speakerphone, external caller ID (external display is much like T-Mobile's Samsung e715 or p735), and internal antenna, look for this soon on cingular's line up!

end of august, beginning of september is all i'm hearing, it was supposed to be in mid august, but i hear it was pushed a little bit, hopefully not further than "end aug/beg sept"!!
