    I am a ATT TDMA customer, and I have seen my service continue to deteriorate lately.

    I'd love to switch to T-Mobile, but my gf is on Cingular so I am stuck with it. I was wondering about switching to the Cingular GSM service:

    If I buy a Cingular GSM phone off eBay and go to a store can I switch to a Cingular GSM service plan without having to get a new contract? Or can they force me to get a contract?

    Also, has anyone who has switched from TDMA to GSM been able to get any deals on the contract (more minutes for example)??

    My Dad Had Tdma Att Then When The Contract Was Finished We Switched To Tmobile And We Got Like 500 Minutes Extra For Each Month More From The Previous Plan (family Plan)
