Hey, is there any way to block a single, or any incoming caller. I'm having a problem with a bunch of kids calling my number. I've asked them to stop many times, but they think its funny. They call 4-6 times at the same time everyday. Cingular claims they can't do anything about it. The police say they will do nothing about it, and to call my carrier. The number comes through with no caller ID, or unknown ID. Please help

If it says unknown when they call then they are probably blocking their number using #67. First check out your phone options under privacy, on my old phone (moto V60i) I had the option to restrict all incoming calls expect those in my phone book. If you have this option you could leave it on for about a week and they should give up after that. If you phone does not have this option and the police or cingular wont help you out there is really not much you can do, besides ignore them, just don’t answer any calls that say unknown after you don’t pick up for a while they will probably get bored of it and stop. Or you could do the opposite and mess with them, when they call talk in a different/odd voice, tell them off, play loud music in the phone, have a female answer every time, get creative ha-ha. Granted this may just provoke them more, but its not like you are going to be able to reason with them, don’t worry too much about it, just some bored kids with no lives and nothing better to do.

HEy, thanks. I've done the phone thing. Did the ignor thing. The problem with talking back or calling them back is that it uses up my cell minutes. Kind of sucks !

you can create a address book entry named private calls or whatever you want, the name don't matter. After naming it, enter a single pause and set the ringtone to silent. When a private number calls you won't hear it ring and it will roll to voicemail.

That a great ideal troyboy30. I did try that. Its too bad because I use this cell line for work and business, and some clients/customers and family members block their numbers making it hard to not want to answer the phone. Sometimes the prank callers number shows up, and I think is a new customer/client. Usually when that happens, I place their number on a list like you said. Too bad the callular companies don't offer support for this kind of garbage. Thanks again all
