I've searched for something like this, but I haven't found anything, so here it goes:
My friend is moving to New York and has Cingular. I'm searching for a cell phone, and she wants me to get one though Cingular so we can have free mobile-to-mobile calling. My question: with the Cingular Nation 450 w/ Rollover plan, it says that there's free mobile-to-mobile calling within my calling area. I live in Oregon and she's going to New York, so she wouldn't be in my calling area. Since there's free long distance, plus mobile-to-mobile, would she be charged an incoming call fee, even though I use Cingular? I'm so confused and I haven't gotten much help from anyone. I don't want to incur any unexpected fees.
I'd like to go with this phone and plan.
Anything I should look out for? Any advice or answers would be greatly appreciated.

if you have a nation plan, then anywhere in the nation is your calling area.
one tip about m2m calling. If either of you blocks your caller id, it will not count as m2m since it can't identify the person with the blocked number.
