    *BAL# (*225#). and you can pay your bill with *PAY (*729).

    is this free or is there a charge evertime you check, with t-mob you do #646# and it lets you know your entire months usage, mins left and when the billing period ends. just curious, i dont wanna use it if i have to pay for it.

    They're all free. You can also do *MIN# (*646#) to get your current minutes (kind of... it may be a little short since roaming towers require a few days to report all the data... don't rely on it but use it as a general idea).
