Ok everyone I'm thinking about getting a family share plan with my mom and have a couple Questions.
1. which company would best for north-eastern Illinois for cheapness, and good service area. I was thinking cingular.
2. where should we buy our phones? I am thinking about getting a moto razr , but my mom would rather have a nokia. If we get verizon I might get a v710.
3. If we dont get good service or dont like the phones can we send them back or switch phones?
Thanks

Cingular's not bad in this area (I'm in Milwaukee), and it's been fine for me all the time whenever I go to chicago and all in between. You can get whatever you like, but I recommend a world phone (or at least a phone that does both 850 and 1900MHz). You'll get much better reception.
With Cingular you can cancel and return the phones and plan with no ETF within 30 days, or make changes to the account (like switch phones, plans, ect).

Agreed concerning the worldphone. I like the Motorola myself but I wouldn't recommend the v710 though.

The v710 is one Verizon's best selling phones as well as good for RF, go for it.
