    Hey guys,

    I'm having some major problems with reception... Just constant cutting out and occasional dropped calls. Cingular told me to RMA my phones and that should take care of the problem. I did this and my new phones should be here tomorrow. I had the Razr V3 and switched to the MPX220. But the thing that is bothering me is that some buddies of mine have the same problems I do (with different phones) with reception but they blame it on the recent merger.

    Anyone else having coverage problems? And is there a way that I can get out of my 2 year contract if they can't be fixed?

    I had a similar problem, took it to nextel and they did a software update. That helped a bit.

    I actually have slightly (and I mean slightly) better coverage now since the merger. Problem is my location (as I was told) is in the middle of nowhere and the towers aren't that close. I usually only get reception in my upstairs bathroom facing north (tower is towards that direction) which really stinks so location may be a factor.
