SLVR L7 Coming to Cingular??

see that's the thing. As i said in my other post, all of the specifications that I have been seeing about the phone on all websites (including motorola's) list it as PTT. But the information packet sent to my store did not list it as being capable, and the dude at motorola's consumer support said his system didn't list the U.S. model as capable either. I was really hoping to track down someone that has physically activated a SLVR on Cingular's PTT system to know that it works, and where they bought the phone from, so I can buy the same thing...

The cingular version has ITunes installed on it and is the successor to the rockr.

Don't know if the cingular version has ptt though. I have a question can you put itunes on one if you bought it off ebay with no itunes on it?

I plan on getting one of these but i need to know whether to wait for the one from cingular or??? get one from ebay i want to use a ht820 headset with it.
and i want the headset to automatically pause when a call comes in. Its supposed to be wireless headphones using bluetooth and regular bluetooth from what i can tell .

Gray I couldn't tell you if you have the ability to put iTunes on the non-U.S. phone, but I would assume that you can still put MP3's on it, even if it isn't in the iTunes format. I do know that the SLVR does not have Stereo bluetooth capability, but I think you can still use the bluetooth headset as a way to listen to music, which would pause if a call came in. Stereo wired headphones are shown with it, I'm not too sure if the headphones will come in the U.S. version box free, as did with the ROKR, or not...

the ptt on the slvr is not capable for cingular's kodiak ptt networks. The ptt onthe slvr is a different format, word is that a software update form moto can fix it, but as of yet it isnt going to work. although the modding scene hasnt found anything yet, im sure its bound to be out soon!
