Cingular Insurance Changes

Cingular has recently made the decision to go to a single option for customers seeking insurance. Current insurance subscribers will see the following changes:

EWPP - Customers subscribing to the Enhanced Warranty Protection Plan ($1.99/mo) will have the Insurance completely removed from their account effective April 22, 2006.

CEPP / INPP - Customers subscribing to the Cingular Equipment Protection Plan ($4.99/mo) or Insurance Protection Plan ($3.99/mo) will be migrated to a newer Insurance plan that will only support Insurance Claims. This plan will be similar to Lock/Line's previous insurance plans, and will cost $3.99/mo. Customers with CEPP and INPP will be automatically migrated to this new system May 20, 2006.

Customers currently subscribing to any of the above mentioned plans will be notified via mail of the change in their insurance options until March 5th, 2006.
