If I understand correctly. If I have Cingular service and want to buy a new phone and not buy if from Cingular I can buy any phone that's unlocked and compatible to Cingular and remove the sim card from my phone and install it in the new phone and it will work?
Thanks

Welcome to the site! The answer is yes, it's as simple as taking the SIM out of the old phone and moving it to the new phone. Careful not to touch the gold pins! Next time, please try a site search, this exact same question has been answered before, lots of times.

I did a search but for some reason what I found wasn't clicking for me. I thought thats what I was reading but it just wasn't sinking in. Thanks for the information.
