lights on phones?

is there any cingular phones that have a light on the outside that blinks or flashes when you get a text or missed call? reason im lookin cause i let my phone sit on my desk and ill be doin stuff and wont hear it go off, i need a phone that like keeps blinking or flashing till i check the phone and see that i got a text or missed call, anyone have a phone with this option?

believe it or not, that's one function the lg c1300 has.

it has a mirror on the outside rather than a 2nd display. but there is an led that flashes periodically. i'm not sure of the color to alert details, since i don't really care about that function.

but it's something to look into i guess, if it's something you'd use.

The Motorola v600 has an awesome color display, though Cingular no longer carries it you can find plenty of them at independent cell phone stores/sites or E-Bay and it's an excellent handset.

They are not really external lights. They just outline the keypad. And unless the phone is open, it's hard to see the lights go off in certain angles. Just like the V600, the V620 lights up on the front.
