How to unlock Cingular's Nokia 6682

anyone have the Nokia 6682? possible to unlock?

does unlocking damage the phone?

Simply ask Cingular to give you the unlock code, you have to have a legitimate reason why you need to unlock your phone and be a customer for no less than 90 days.

Unlocking your phone will not damage it unless you entered the wrong code for more than three times.

u ahve to have a really really really good reason... cingular tends to be uptight about their phones

i tried to get it unloked... i didnt have a reason, and they put me on the spot, so i just hung up

try flashing your phone with a flex editor

i hava deep voice, and sound nothing like a 15 year old and i mentioned nothing of ym age

in fact i used my dads name since he gave me all the info in accordance with my cingular account

You're right, the tone of your voice has nothing to do with it either, i've never had a problem getting mine unlocked.

For a good reason, just tell them you will be on a vacation this year in Europe, and would like to use prepaid SIM cards, when visiting family and friends while there. And it was familiy and friends in Europe that made the suggestion for lower cost calls, using local perpaid sims, while in Europe.

If they ask you were you are going, just say London and then sightseeing with family from there.
