I am using cingular and got my phone about 6 months ago (with 2 year contract)
so now I am going to college in Canada (Toronto), and I am wondering what I can do.
Is the only option canceling my current service and getting a new cell phone in Canada? or is there any other way?
(Oh btw, if t-mobile has any better options, tell me about them. because my dad won't be using his t-mobile service)

Re: Moving to Canada?
Check whether Cingular has a North America package. I have one for $9.99 a month, but I'm still on a AT&T plan. Basically, it extends your calling area to include Canada, so making calls to or while you're in Canada is the same as making domestic calls ie, only airtime and no roaming charges
