    Does anyone have experience unlocking either the Cingular 8125 or the T-Mobile MDA? I was considering buying one used and getting unlocking software. I thought it might come out cheaper. I'm still under contract with T-Mobile, so I can't get any good price deals.

    The manufacturer and model of those phones is HTC Wizard. Do a google search on that and unlock, you will find a wealth of information. From what I have seen they are fairly easy to unlock.

    Best bet would be to run a google search on Cingular 8125 Unlock or MDA unlock you'll see alot options , some rough and buggy but free, some more professional and naturally come at a premium. Depends really on what you expect and time you want to put into this.

    I've heard alot of good things about GSMliberty, they seem to have a good reputation and have live chat, support forums and toll free number you can abuse
