HELP EXPERIENCED CELL PHONE USER...if you have no experience you can't help

I lost my phone and I want to know if there is anyway that I can have my phone remotely turned off of silent mode. I have looked for weeks and I think that it is wedged somewhere at my house or someone elses house. I want to know if someone who is good with phones can hack into it or even use some program I don't know about so they can turn it off of silent. I am in desperate need. Please help me.

You're out of luck. By now if it has been weeks, the battery is dead.
There is no way to change from silent except from the phone itself.

...either that, or someone else found it and probably sold it.

No way to "hack into the phone" to do anything like that, without having the phone in your hands, connected to a cable, which in turn is connected to a computer.

Can't even do anything like that using bluetooth.

There's two uniquue things that most cell phones have.

1 - Even though it's on silent, the phone will still vibrate. The house have to be very quiet. You call your cell phone and start looking for it. You should hearing it buzzing from the vibration.

2 - Wait till the battery goes dead. It will start to make a noise. The noise varies depending which phone you have. Usually the noise is couple of beeps every so often.

So that's how you find your phone. Like the other posters said, if you lost it for few weeks, it's already too late. The battery is now dead.

Did you hear any strange noise from your house or your friend's house? If not, maybe you didn't loose it there. You probably lost it someplace else and now someone else have it now.
