unbranding a T-Mobile phone

Is there a way to unbrand a Nokia 6010 phone? The phone is branded T-Mobile and I want to switch to Cingular. I'm using the phone fine but I can't use IM or Internet features with Cingular.

In order to use Media Net and MMS, you'll need to configure the settings for Cingular. You should be able to do it here: https://onlinecare.cingular.com/supp...gular&make=All

I tried that and this phone (Nokia 6010) wont let me make changes. The options are not there or they are greyed out on the phone.

yea, youre screwed unless you have software and a data cable to hook up to the phone... ive noticed t-mobile does that for several models... even saw tmobile pink v3 that had all the settings like that grayed out... sucks.... if i knew then what i know now, that would not have been a prob at all...lol
