Anyone know where I can get the Samsung D807 for less than the $129.99 phone upgrade price that is offered from Cingular.com?
    Thanks.

Re: New phone with cingular service

Wirefly/Inphonic has the D807 for free (after $50-$60 rebate) for current Cingular customers who upgrade to a new 2-year agreement. You may have to start with this specific link, because they offer different deals depending on how people navigate to their site.

If you change the zip for your home location (top of page) and it reverts back to the "new Cingular customer" deal page, just click the "Current Cingular Wireless & AT&T Wireless Customers Click Here" button at lower left of most pages and you should be good to go.

    Good luck...

Has anyone on here ever delt with them before, how was it? They don't have a number to call to ask questions.

I got mine there. The only mistake they made was they forgot to send my porting info to Cingular, but I straightened that out with a quick call to Cingular the next day. They literally ported my over while I sat there on hold - it took less than 5 minutes. Other than that (admittedly a slight hassle), it went fine. They even sent the rebate forms along with my order.

Was your order for new service or an upgrade?

The free deal is probably better, but I saw at Best Buy you can get it for $79.99. $80 more than the other source, but it is a sure bet to be a good dealer.

My order was for new service (ported from Sprint), but I'd seen the Cingular upgrade thing and remembered it when you asked about it.

If anyone near Edison, NJ wants to find a local dealer with great deals on phone and service (cingular, t-mo), you can PM me. I found my retailer to be great. Free SLVR, Free Razr. Samsung 807 was almost free after rebate.

Wirefly isn't technically for upgrades, because you HAVE to sign with a new plan not just extent your current contract. The offered plan is WORSE (more money/ less minutes) than what I currently have. And BEst Buy at $79.99 is the same way.

Actually Wirefly.com does do upgrades through contact extension, don't know exactly how safe that website is, but they do offer upgrades.

also beware that sites like wirefly make you sign into some sort of an agreement with them. make sure you read all the fine print, because if you for some reason leave cingular earlier, wirefly will most likely charge you an ETF as well... there's a reason sites like that give the phones for cheaper prices, they get it in other ways.
