What is the best/cheapest MP3 player/phone for cingular?

I have looked high and low. My contract is over and I want to get a new MP3 player phone. I don't care if I get it off of ebay or from the cingular store. But I just can't find much of anything for under $150. The cheapest I found was the Cingular 2125. I'm not so into PDAs but it seems cheap enough if I reup my contract.

Is there anything else out there that is good but cheap?

The SE W600i is available online...the discounts vary though, so you'd have to keep an eye out for it. I'm not sure if I saw it correctly, but I think I saw it for $19.99 with online discounts and rebates. Today it's selling for $39.99. There are some phones you can get for that price, and I'm going to assume that you want one that has 850/1900Mhz.

You can also get an LG CE500 for that amount, or even a used Samsung D807. One site you can also try is Craigslist.org. Sometimes there are deals there, you just have to keep an eye out for it.

i would go with the cingular 2125 only you need to do is purhcase a 2GB memory card and your good to go. This phone in my opinion is great.

I have the SLVR L7, and I personally LOVE IT. I don't think it cost that much after rebates if I recall, under $100, may not be the cheapest, but it's a damn nice phone, I HIGHLY recommend it.

2125 is a good smart phone. But using it solely as an MP3 player, it's not the best. Music sounds a lil tinny, but what would you expect from WMP. Cheapest one right now, you can't go wrong with the Walkman series from SE so...the W300i. Cheap, but excellent when listening to music.

The Sony Ericsson W810i can hold a lot of MP3s and it has tons and tons of other things, such as a 2 Mega Pixels Digital Camera, FM radio, EDGE, etc. It is 150 after a 50 dollar Rebate on CIngulars Website. It is truely a great phone, and brand new to Cingular.

I personally would get the SLVR L7, but if you're that worried about the money, then go get just about any of Cingular's Sony Ericcsons. The 2125 wouldn't be a bad choice, either, although I think the Ericcsons will suit you the best as they're basic (i.e. no smartphone) and cheaper than the SLVR and RAZR V3i.
