I recently had my friend take me off her cingular plan (I paid an early cancellation fee). I now have a new plan and put my new sim card in my phone. I tossed the deactivated one from teh line I cancelled.
The issue is that the person who had me on their plan is freaking out on me saying I was supposed to hand in my old sim card to her. Why would this be if that line is cancelled isn't that old sim card useless?
Anyone heard of cingular requesting old sim cards back?

Your friend is confused. The sim is useless. And even if it were not, a simple phone call can make it so. Tossing it would be the proper thing to do.

Unless you forgot to delete all the info on the SIM card, someone can use that to whatever they want with it.

Re: help me please!!!!!!!!
put it this way... with the system that cingular has... if a sim card is deactivated, it will NEVER be able to be activated again, because it fry's itself....
