    does anyone know how to get rid of the "Cingular and the date" on the wallpaper/main screen? The cell phone is a motorola L7 SLVR.?

    you used to be able to if you had an unlocked phone, but now the SIM card controls what it says (which really sucks because you used to be able to tell what tower you were using by looking where you currently see the word Cingular)
