Lg Cu500

I have been wanting to get the LG CU500 for a while and I saw that they are not on GoPhone(which I have). Can anyone help me find a way where I can get this phone without buying it with the 2 year agreement and just buy the phone so I can use with my gophone sim card?

Since its only for Cingular will all the phones I see be locked to Cingular?

Unless it's stated as unlocked, then more than likely it would be locked to Cingular. It looks like the average price of it would go for about $200. However, I've seen some on Craigslist that go for $150. I don't think you would want to spend more than that.

If you're going to deal with a transaction through Craigslist, test out the phone thoroughly. If you feel there might be something wrong with the phone while testing, you can always back out.

Yup. It's kind of like a swap meet if you've been to one. You can check it out and also barter the price if the seller agrees to lower it. Just remember, don't feel inclined to actually buy it when you meet with the seller. If you feel there is something wrong with it, either get it for a cheaper price or just walk away. Sometimes buyers get that feeling that they have to buy it just because the arrangements to meet have been set, then later find out there is something wrong with the item after buying it.
