Cingular Go Phone, How do I change owners?

I called cingular and purchased a black razr Go Phone as a Christmas gift for someone.

The phone came today and I just realized that the number & phone is registered to my personal name.

I want the phone to be in the persons name I'm giving it to and was wondering how I can get my name off and his name on it without a big hassle?

Do I just need a new sim card and he will be able to register it in his name?

Is it OK to get one from eBay?

Call Cingular...they helped me when I got a Go Phone for my mom...she wanted the Pink Razr...and she loves it
