I just have a couple of questions. I'm new to the forums. I've been a Sprint user for over 3 years, but decided to jump the GSM route. I ordered 3 phones from T-Mobile last week (Blackberry Pearl, 2 Samsung Sliders), but after receiving them today I've decided that I can't keep them. I have no reception in my house, I should've checked the coverage map first (I'm 4th out of 6th on the T-Mobile map). I need to drive at least 1/4 mile before I get service. And no point keeping a phone if I get no service. I'm going to send these back for Cingular phones. I checked on the Cingular site and supposedly I get 'Great' coverage in my area.
I've decided on a Samsung a707 and a Samsung d807. For the 3rd phone I want to get the Motorola RIZR unlocked. My dilemma is will Cingular give me a 3rd SIM card that's not already attached to a phone? I have no problem signing up for a 2 year contract. Or will I have to purchase a 'free' phone and move the SIM to the RIZR after I get it? Thanks a ton guys.
