I am floating with Cingular and have an old V70 which has proven durable. I have researched the phones Cingular has now but I have no way to tell how durable long-term some of these might be.

Here is what I am looking for:

    1. close to $50 or less after rebates
    2. flip phone
    3. bluetooth capable and one that works well with it
    4. speaker phone; something that actually works okay

I do not care about photo quality or mp3, video, FM or toaster oven - just want something I can drop a few times on the concrete that will not break.

If the razr is really that great I could spring the extra $30 but I have heard it does not work too well with bluetooth.

    Any suggestions?

My wife has a sony ericsson Z525a, it seems to be a great phone. Mp3 can be set as ringtones, bluetooth works well (haven't used a BT headset though, just to transfer data), picture is ok for a camera phone, has a speaker phone, and she drops it all the time-no problems!

Best of all only $19 after rebates and 2 year contract.

She had a nokia 6102i and she likes this one much better. And it has 18MB of memory (more than most flip phones)!
