Swapping SIMS

When I swap my Cingular 2125 SIM to a used Cingular phone (different model like a KRZR), will all my contacts be viewable?

How about if is a new unlocked KRZR?

Contacts can be stored either in the PHONE's memory or on the SIM card. Most people actually do not store their contacts on their SIM card, they store them in the phone's memory.

If you want to swap your SIM card and have it move your contacts, you need to make absolutely sure you store all your contacts on the SIM card and not in the phone memory.

to piggy back off wireless fans last reply if you are unsure how to do this you have two options

1) you can go to cingulars site and go to your phones tutorials

2) if you are unsure go to your nearest cingular store...it usually takes about 3 mins
