wut kinda signal would i get if i bought a tri band fone? would there be a big difference in the signal? thanx for ur help.

Depends upon the what the bands are. The bands refer to the frequencies
that the phone will send and receive on. The U.S. uses 850 and 1900 mhz
bands, while Europe uses 900 and 1800 mhz. If you get a phone that receives
850/1800/and 1900 mhz then in the U.S you will see no difference. On the other hand if you get a phone that only receives on the 900/1800/1900 bands part of
the time you will get no signal because the phone will not have a band that you
may need in the u.s.
Tri bands does not improve the strength of reception, it only allows you to
operate in different countries, sometimes.

the tri band i found has 900/1800/1900 bands. i wanna find a cool fone but i cant seem to find 1 that has 850. any suggestions onna [I]cool[I] fone?? i need a replacement for my fone. although i did kinda like the samsung sgh-d307...but the external display is monochrome...but i do still like it.
