Sorry, this has probably already been asked a dozen times.
I have a 3125 and downloaded some songs from WMP via Sync to my device. Now I want to make them ringtones. They are in the "music" folder, not the "sounds" folder...do I need to move them?
I use Smartphone Windows Mobile 5.0.
Thanks!

Yes, they need to go to the Sounds directory, also make sure that they are in one of the following formats: MPEG-4-AAC.MP4, SP-MIDI,AMR, MP3.
The only size requirement is that you have enough memory.

You can also store your mp3/ringtones in the main directory of your storage card (your smartphone should detect that they are there) if you want to preserve phones' precious system memory...
Also if you want to play just part of the song as your ringer (The hook or your favorite part or whatever)..Check out this link for Mp3TRIM.. Its FREEWARE! and it allows you to "trim" your MP3...
