At the moment I'm running a Dell Inspiron 1300. 15.4" LCD, 512 RAM, 60 GB HD, wireless a/b/g, CD writer / DVD ROM, and an 8 cell extended battery. It's black and silver, and cost me $750 CDN (About $625 USD).
For the price, what can I complain ? Sure it's not a power house notebook, and sure, if I was going to spend $1500+ I'd go with a Toshiba (my personal favorite), but for the price, nothing beats this system.
