Re: Anyone into overclocking?
^^ not necessarily, XP has a 64 bit version, but its like double the price and since vista is comming you gotta be way impatient to buy it, especially when you gotta manually look for all new 64 bit drivers, cause many companies wont include them until vista ships with thier pc's

Re: Anyone into overclocking?
I want to overclock my AMD 64 3800 X2 proc, but I dunno how far I want to go... Anyone ever overclocked this particular proc? If so, then could you give me the settings I need, and I print them out and set it up, what all do I need to set? There is the front side bus, the clock speed, and the power or sumthin... see I don't know much about this. But, if anyone has safely overclocked this particular one, with stock cooling, let me know, cuz I want to get the most I can, but I use this comp for school, and if I screw it up, I'm gonna be screwed, lol.

Re: Anyone into overclocking?
Overclocking is quite simple if you have the right setup M/B and Processor. I overclock my FX-55 939 from BIOS. FX series is nice because the multiplier isn't locked
