i have saved a short cut to the forum on my desk top and in my favorites but they want work so i delete them and added them back and they still want work. this is the only forum that i am having this trouble with so anyone can help i would be great full.

bookmarks are you talking about favorites ? if favorites i did save their still didn't work.

No, bookmarks are different. At the top of your browser page, there should be a word that says bookmarks (next to yuor File, Edit, etc. buttons. Then click and go down to bookmark this page, then choose where to place the Bookmark.

OK here is what i got i have windows xp ie7 now at the top here we go file / edit / favorites / tools / help / links . i don't see bookmarks any where.

Oops, my fault. They are the same, IE just refers to them as something different, I guess.

Try and check to see if it is storing the site somewhere else.

I personally use Firefox, and rarely use IE.

Goto Ie7 Tools pull down and turn off the pop-up blocker. (Or change settings)
Goto Ie7 Tools pull down/ Internet options/Privacy tab/Advanced button: check Override automatic cookie...
One or both of these changes should get you going.

Glad to hear it's working. BTW, you should be able to put an icon on your desktop to link you to this site (or any other site for that matter). Click on the File menu, and then go Send - Shortcut to Desktop. This will place an icon on your PC desktop. Double-click it, and it will bring you into the website.

Who wants to clutter the desktop with internet links?
Drag it from the desktop to the Quick Launch toolbar
Then delete it from the desktop.
Left click the icon, it will open to the site.

OK, camstuf, dropping the icon onto the taskbar is a good idea, but you gotta create it first! BTW, I'm usually a pretty neat person, but I must admit, my desktop is cluttered with icons. When it gets too bad, I just create a new file FOLDER with a descriptive title, and drop a bunch of icons into the folder.

What is that? How did you get it. I'm illiterate when it comes to that. I noticed the windows vista, but what did u do to get the cool quick launch at the top?

That is a RocketDock, part of a Bricopack theme I use called Vista Inspirat 2.
I don't have Vista: (XP Pro SP3 IE8)
