If you plan on watching the Super Bowl this weekend, you may happen to catch the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Android handset in the very first Super Bowl commercial. The Samsung Galaxy Note Android handset will make its debut in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl XLVI on February 5th and will be feature Bobby Farrelly, the director of "Dumb and Dumber."

Features of the Samsung Galaxy Note include: Runs on Android Gingerbread (upgradeable to Android 4.0 ICS), a 5.3 inch Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 800 pixels, LTE connectivity, S Pen technology, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 2MP front-facing camera, and a 2,500mAh battery. White and Carbon Blue will be the two color choices and will sell for $299.99 on contract with AT&T.

But our impressive electronic pro-creator has once again managed to conceive another one of her bantam heirs, and this time it is in the form of 'phablets'. As the portmanteau makes it clear, this conception alludes to an exclusive fusion of phones and tablets. But beyond the novelty factor, as ardent aficionados we certainly hope that phablets would embody the best of both worlds.
