AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note LTE Hands-on

The Samsung Galaxy Note LTE was announced on Jan 9th during CES. Cell Phone Forums got a chance to handle it and got a quick demo of some of its handy features. The Note isn't your typical smartphone in that it has an extra large 5.3 inch super AMOLED screen.


Here are the features:

• 4g LTE for AT&T
• 5.3 inch screen (800 x 1280)
• Dual-core 1.5GHZ Qualcomm MSM8660
• 1GB RAM
• 32GB of internal storage
• 8mp camera
• 2mp front camera
• 1080p video recording
• 2500 mAh battery
• Built in stylus w/ optional pen accessory

There are several applications that make the Note what it is. The text recognition software looks wonderful. It allows you to easily takes notes and then transcribe them. You can easily take screen captures, drawl on them, and then crop however you would like (see video).

In your hands the Note feels big as a phone and may look silly up to your ear if you have a small to medium sized head.

What is different from the N7000, non LTE, version? Well, LTE and a slightly faster 1.5GHz (vs 1.4) dual-core processor. there isn't a set release date or price just yet.
