LG officially announced its next 4g LTE device yesterday (1/9) at CES 2012; the Spectrum. Today Cell Phone Forums got a chance to play with the device. It is expected on Verizon January 19th at $199 with a two year contract.

Motorola officially announced the Droid RAZR MAXX on 1/9. Today at CES 2012 we got to play with it a bit. The RAZR MAXX has all the same features of the original Droid RAZR, but is a little bit thicker and has a battery with almost double the mAh! 1700mAh to 3300mAh! Motorola boasted at 21 hour talk time giving it "the longest battery life of any smartphone". Unfortunately there is no release date set as of yet.

The Samsung Exhibit II 4G is the newest and fastest phone that you can buy on T-Mobile without a contract. Even better, it's only $199 + $50 a month for unlimited talk, text, and web (first 100mb at up to 4g speed). There are also more pre paid plans going down to $30 a month detailed here.
