Palm Pre 2 has become available in the U.S. via HP

Although no US carrier is carrying the Palm Pre 2 as of yet, (Verizon is expected to at some point), HP has now made the Palm Pre 2 available through them. The Palm Pre 2 from HP is the unlocked GSM version and will cost $450, in which HP will ship within 24 hours.

Since the Palm Pre 2 is the unlocked GSM version, the handset will not work on CDMA networks like Verizon and Sprint.

Features of the Palm Pre 2 include: the new WebOS 2.0, a 1 GHz processor, vertical sliding QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.1-inch HVGA (480×320) display.
