A new Android smartphone has been announced for Sprint and comes as an Eco-friendly device, the LG Optimus Elite
. The LG Optimus
Elite is the successor to the LG Optimus S
and consist of 50% recycled plastics, which makes it Eco-friendly. The Optimus Elite will be shipped in recyclable paper and an energy efficient charger that excees the EC Code of Conduct.
Features of the LG Optimus
Elite will include the following: Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3.5 inch HVGA display, Wi-Fi, NFC, Google Wallet, 50GB of free cloud storage, 5MP rear camera, and an 800MHz processor.
April 22 is the launch date for the LG Optimus
Elite for Sprint and will cost Sprint customers $29.99 when a new 2 year contract agreement is signed and after a 50 mail-in-rebate. Colors that Sprint customers can choose from are: white or Titan
