Last week we've reported that the Motorola Atrix HD appeared on the Motorola website for a brief period of time, after which it has been pulled for unknown reasons. At that time we were hoping that we will get more details about the price tag and release date of the device sooner rather than later, and fortunately it seems like we were not left waiting for too long, because the Atrix HD has just received an official price tag and release date.

According to Motorola the new Atrix HD will exclusively hit AT&T's stores on July 15. That's just a few days away from now, so if you're planning on grabbing the Atrix HD while it's hot you might want to learn that the price is one of the best things about the handset. The newest Atrix will go on sale for $100 alongside a two-year contract with the carrier.

For that amount of money you will get a 4.3 inch 720p LCD display with 330ppi pixel density and ColorBoost, 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU, 1 GB of Ram, 8 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD, an 8 MP camera on the back, 1.3 MP camera on the front, 1780 mAh battery, LTE and Ice cream Sandwich out of the box.

That's quite a deal and it really does offer a great value for money. It also comes in two flavors, including Modern White and Titanium, alongside the Kevlar elements on the back cover.

Will the Atrix HD be your next smartphone?
