Motorola Defy launching in India January 24

India will soon see the launch of the rugged Motorola DEFY as early as next week. The Motorla Defy is said to be launch on January 24 in India. The rugged handset is already available in the US, Australia and Europe.

Although the price of the Motorola Defy is still yet unknown, it will probably run around 20,000 INR ($438 in US). The Motorola Defy runs on Android 2.1 but is upgradable to Android 2.2 Froyo and will come around the second quarter.
