Samsung is the number one seller and maker of smartphones recently beating out Apple for the top spot. The latest news says that the company's upcoming Galaxy SIII is receiving a lot of attention from prospective buyers. As many as nine million new orders for the handset have been recorded by the burgeoning company. The phone is not due to be released until the end of the month.

The Samsung company was not the source of the news, but rather a newspaper called the "Korea Economic Daily". They interviewed a Samsung official and found out that as many as 100 carriers all over the world are interested in running the upcoming Galaxy SIII. The bad news is that with all the attention and orders, there may be an extended wait for delivery. The Galaxy S2 was a strain on Samsung, but failed to produce an increase in wait time. But this smartphone is the most anticipated handset of 2012 and with its large screen and powerful features is sure to please.

The Super AMOLED screen of the Galaxy SIII is right up there with the iPhone 4S screen in clarity. The processor is not just dual core, but quad core in an impressive display of engineering. Samsung is the one making the internals on this smartphone, unlike Apple, who have traditionally outsourced their work on the iPhone. The memory is created in the same steps as the iPhone also, with 16, 32 and 64 gigabytes available to buyers. The telling difference is that the Samsung Galaxy SIII will also include a slot for a flash card. The flash card goes up to another 64 gigabytes, overshadowing the memory potential of the iPhone.

Since the Samsung Galaxy SIII is pressing the factories to produce more and more, quality issues are expected to arise. The Samsung factory is reported to be able to make five million handsets a month. The nine million already on pre-order is nearly two months of work for the company. Nevertheless, Koreans are industrious and hard workers, so this may not turn out to be a problem. No delays are expected for the launch at the end of the month.

Great information shared, looks like Samsung is going to take some big decisions in the near future to give its competitors a hard time.

You are right. Those who know the Korean work ethic and are their competitors, it must scare them.
