Not long ago we've reported that ZENS is planning on launching a wireless charging kit for the Samsung Galaxy S3. The idea of wireless charging capabilities on Samsung's flagship phone is not really that new to be honest, since the very first rumors concerning this matter have surfaced back in May and the rumors were confirmed when the S3 was unveiled.

Nevertheless, until very recently there was no word about when we'll get to buy wireless charging kits for the device. However, after ZENS revealed their charging station a few days ago, new rumors are now indicating that Samsung is planning on launching their very own charging kits.

The latest leak comes from an anonymous source that revealed a picture depicting the Samsung charging kit for the Galaxy S3 at Verizon. Along with the picture there was information about pricing as well.

As seen in the picture above the wireless charging station consists in two pieces (same as the one from ZENS), meaning a charging pad and a new back cover for the phone. We don't know if this particular package will enable you to wirelessly charge your S3 from a few meters away as the rumors back in May suggested, so that remains to be seen later on.

As far as pricing goes, the tipster revealed that initially the charging pad was listed at $70, but once this gadget hits the shelves the price will be lowered at $50. However, the back cover will be sold at the price of $39 so that's actually a total price of $89 for the entire package. This makes the Samsung wireless charging kit $9 more expensive than the one from ZENS.

As for its release date, there's nothing official thus far, but since ZENS is planning to launch their kit in September, it wouldn't come as a big surprise if we'd get to see Samsung's wireless charging stations in Verizon's stores in the same time-frame.
