Wednesday, the Tap touch phone went on sale by T-Mobile. The Tap has a large touchscreen with a touch user interface and the design is that of a monoblock-style device. The Tap comes equipped with quad-band GSM/EDGE radios and supports T-Mobile's 1700MHz UMTS/HSDPA 3G network, 2MP camera with video capture, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, music player, and supports microSD card up to 8GB. The Tap touch phone is made by Huawei and can support most messaging applications such as SMS/MMS and email.
Price of the Tap will be $80 after rebates with new agreement.
