As many of you are already aware of this, the Apple iPhone 5 has been launched in the US a few months ago via AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, which is pretty great as long as you're not a T-Mobile customer. The reason behind this is because Magenta hasn't offered the Apple flagship phone on its network, but instead it encouraged iPhone 5 owners (that have purchased the device somewhere else) to pair up their device with a T-Mobile agreement.

However, that's about to change in the near future and if you'd like to own an iPhone 5 from T-Mobile then you'll soon be able to do so. How soon? Well, there have been rumors indicating that the handset will eventually end up on Magenta's shelves and back in December the carrier in question has confirmed these rumors. The only disappointing part was the fact where T-Mobile hasn't actually given a release date other than "sometime in 2013".

Nonetheless, the carrier in question has now made a new announcement and according to the latest, the iPhone 5 should hit the stores in about three or four months. The release of the device also seems to coincide with the date on which T-Mobile will stop offering subsidized phones alongside Classic plans. With that in mind, once the Apple flagship device goes on sale at Magenta, you'll most likely have to pay more for the device itself while being able to attach it to a Value plan.

Whether or not the iPhone 5 will sell well at T-Mobile remains to be seen, and four months is still a pretty large period of time considering how many new gadgets will be unveiled and released during this time frame. A lot of impressive Android-powered smartphones will hit the market until the iPhone 5 goes on sale at Magenta, some of which will arrive with full HD 1080p screen resolution and amazingly powerful internal hardware. I suppose that if you are a true Apple enthusiast you won't care about those things, but you might still want to wait until more information regarding the iPhone 5s will surface before taking a decision about your future purchase at T-Mobile.
