Not long ago, Sprint and Virgin Mobile have both launched the LG Optimus F3 on their networks, and now it seems that T-Mobile wants a piece of this action as well. Magenta has just announced that the Optimus F3 will be available for purchase in its stores in about a week from now – on August 7 to be more precise.

Price-wise, T-Mobile will offer the Optimus F3 for free, $0 down, assuming of course that you are willing to get the handset on the carrier's Simple Choice Plan which will set you back $10 a month for a total of 24 months. Being a Simple Choice Plan, customers will be subject to credit approvals.

So what can you get for this amount of money? Well, the LG Optimus F3 is actually a pretty decent mid-range smartphone for its price, featuring a 4.0 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800 and a pixel density of 233 pixels per inch, Corning Gorilla Glass 2, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, an Adreno 305 graphics chip, 4 GB of internal storage out of which 1.24 GB are user accessible and a microSD card slot that allows you to expand the storage by up to an additional 32 GB.

In the media department, the handset features a 5 MP main camera boasting 1080p recording capabilities, HDR, panorama, autofocus and LED flash, as well as a VGA front-facing sensor. The LG Optimus F3 comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and is being powered by a 2,460 mAh battery. I should also mention that the F3 offered by T-Mobile will arrive with the carrier's own Wi-Fi Calling feature.

Come August 7, the Optimus F3 will be available for purchase in T-Mobile's brick and mortar stores, online and through select retailers. Is anyone interested in buying this device? Would you pick T-Mobile's offer rather than Sprint's or Virgin Mobile's?
