I have developed a beta version of an application to work around the fact that Cricket does not offer email to text capability. When I say email to text I mean that somebody could send a text message to your phone from any email software (even webmail), though obviously still limited to the 148 character txt message limit.
If you're a cricket user and you would like to take part in a beta test, please contact me. I only need a handful of testers for this first beta version.

Cricket Text Messaging
Very interested if you have email to cricket text messaging working. Our company would like to notify our users (which we do for all users except cricket), however Cricket is very unresponsive. Please let me know you .

What do you mean? People have always been able to send emails to cellphones. The text capacity is limited as you said but I don't think that the "beta application" you are working on is something people didn't know.
But thats just what I think, maybe you are doing something else that I am not aware of.
