Soo i went to cricket to flash it and after 1 hour of waiting i found out that it can't b uesed on Cricket. so I'm wondering if the just that one phone that can't be used or if it's all HTC Evo's that can't be flashed. cuz i really want the HTC Evo 4G

Re: Flashing HTC EVO(Sprint) to Cricket

I know this is an old post, but I thought I'd reply anyway.

As far as I know, that phone should be able to be flashed, as long as it is using the correct frequency in your area and has a clean ESN. In some areas, Cricket uses 1,900 Mhz, and in others, Cricket uses 1,700 Mhz. You cannot use a flashed phone in a 1,700 Mhz area, but you can in a 1,900 Mhz area. To determine which area you're in, check the Cricket coverage map. If there are diagonal lines going through your coverage area, you cannot use a flashed phone. If the area is solid, you should be able to use a flashed phone.
