When signing up for a TMobile Contract at LetsTalk.com they offer Free Sidekick II's, is this deal legit? Here's a picture of the information page.

NOT A T-MOBILE OFFER. This is an offer by the seller - LetsTalk.com

T-Mobile only offers a $50 mail-in rebate on the Sidekick II.

The $100 rebate is being offered through the seller LetsTalk.com. You would have to get in contact with LetsTalk.com to see what the are the specifics and requirements for their rebate offer.

I also visited the seller's website and see that they offer a "Gold Insurance Package."
This is also not something T-Mobile would handle.

The link in the above post does not lead to where it should.

    Here is the correct link:

I got my sidekick for 100 dollars in store..Heres how...
I called over the phone to a few places to do a credit check, some places told me i did NOT have credit and couldnt get a sidekick. I finally called one store in Boston who said i could get a sidekick AND she even ACTIVATED IT over the phone and put it in the stock room for me to pick up the NEXT day! I thought that it was so awsome that she trusted me enough to activate it and wait for me to get it. Which i did, i was outside waiting for 5 hours before the store opened, seriously. So anyways.. she told me if i went to get it right now OR the next day, shell give me an ADDITIONAL 50.00 off on TOP of the 50.00 and the other 50.00 rebates.. PLUS another 50.00 MAIL in rebate! okay how excited was i??! so i called her back about 6 times that day cause i was in such disbelief that i was getting a phone for 100.00! not even a phone, a SIDEKICK! and she just laughed and said, yes i am serious! i wouldnt joke with u about this.. so i went to go pick it up AND she through in a FREE skin from skin it.com!! =)
So, thats my deal... also, today my 14 day trial period ends and i am sticking with my sidekick that i love so many muches =) hehe

so like RR said, tmobile isnt offering that deal, that deal is through LETSTALK.com.

    Renee,

Sounds like you may have dealt with a Rep in a good mood that day... Anyway guys, always call Corporate T-Mobile locations first and see how much you can get a phone for in the store. Sometimes, it may be more expensive than on the internet, but it is worth it.

Why? Because if something goes wrong with the phone you got on the internet You can't take it to the store to get exchanged. You gotta send it back throught the internet. Also, you have no one to help you understand your plan. You can read all you want, but the rep at a store will answer your questions right then and there. Also, any deal that goes wrong over the internet is a deal made between you and the internet dealer. T-Mobile has no way of compensating you for a deal made between you and somebody not from our company. Click on the link in my signature to find REAL T-Mobile stores. They're the ones with the Pink "T" inside of a yellow box.

RR...The reps in that store are ALWAYS in a good mood. thats not a fair statement. All reps should be the way the Boston Tmobile is. Are you trying to say Tmobile reps are usually mean, rude, and not cooperative? I hope not cause thats not the case out here in Boston! They are polite, friendly, and willing to help out no matter what, all the time, i can count on both hands how many times i have called since 1 week ago and they are ALWAYS willing to go out of their way and help..

RR is right, purchasing over the internet can be a horror show. Ive heard so many stories about people not getting their refunds, or getting a broken sidekick and the company suddenly, disappearing...i totally think going IN to the store is MUCH more worth it.. i totally agree with RR!
